In the year 2000, Tegan Grant was approached to style four luxury townhouses in Neutral Bay by a prominent Sydney developer, hoping to entice buyers to fall in love with the properties and expedite a successful sales campaign.
Excitedly, she jumped at the opportunity to make her mark, driven by her deep-rooted passion for creating beautiful spaces!
Tegan believed that even in a depressed housing market, establishing an emotional connection with potential buyers with well-thought-out furniture placement and stylish interiors was essential.
She knew that by helping prospective buyers envision themselves living in these homes, she could unlock tremendous value for both the purchasers and the vendors. The perfect win/win scenario!
She was on to something as soon after she was engaged by several renowned real estate agents in the area and vendors looking to enhance their properties for sale, igniting the birth of Furnish & Finish—one of Sydney’s most recognised and longeststanding property styling companies.
Over the next two decades, Furnish and Finish flourished and quickly became a market leader, expanding to over 4000sqm of warehouse space across Sydney & Brisbane locations, at times comprising a team of over 50 staff of designers, stylists, installers and logistics managers.
To date, Furnish and Finish have styled well over 10,000 properties.
Six years ago, the business expanded its services into an online furniture business, Iluka Road Collection, offering bespoke furniture and accessories to wholesale and retail customers from pieces she discovered locally and internationally.
Tegan has spent much time abroad sourcing unique and interesting pieces and working with overseas manufacturers to see her vision come to light.
Today, the business has evolved into the Grant Interiors Group, which delivers value through multiple furniture brands, the most recent being FurnishX – high-quality turnkey furniture packages aimed to inspire and captivate.
