In the year 2000, Tegan Grant was approached to style four luxury townhouses in Neutral Bay by a prominent Sydney developer, hoping to entice buyers to fall in love with the properties and expedite a successful sales campaign.
Excitedly, she jumped at the opportunity to make her mark, driven by her deep-rooted passion for creating beautiful spaces.
Tegan believed that even in a depressed housing market, establishing an emotional connection with potential buyers through well-thought-out furniture placement and stylish interiors was essential. She knew that by helping prospective buyers envision themselves living in these homes, she could unlock tremendous value, a perfect win/win for both purchasers and vendors.
She was on to something. Soon after, she was engaged by several renowned real estate agents and vendors looking to enhance their properties for sale, igniting the birth of Furnish & Finish—one of Sydney’s most recognised and longest-standing property styling companies.
Over the next two decades, Furnish & Finish flourished and quickly became a market leader, expanding to over 4,000 sqm of warehouse space across Sydney and Brisbane. At times, the team grew to over 50 staff members, including designers, stylists, installers, and logistics managers.
To date, Furnish & Finish have styled well over 10,000 properties.
Today, the business has evolved into the Grant Interiors Group, delivering value through multiple furniture brands. The most recent is FurnishX. A high-quality turnkey furniture package company designed to inspire and captivate. With longstanding supplier relationships, the team offers affordable, tailored and ready-now packages available Australia-wide.
Today, most of the company’s energy is dedicated to FurnishX, a brand built to make furnishing an entire home simple, affordable and inspiring.

At FurnishX, Lillian’s focus is on helping clients bring their homes to life with complete furniture packages that are stylish, practical, and ready now. She believes great design shouldn’t be complicated – it should be effortless, affordable, and tailored to each client’s needs.
